St Athan Community Council is committed to providing excellent facilities and services to the community.
We are looking to appoint a part time Clerk to carry out a varied programme of administrative and clerical duties with the efficient and effective delivery of Community Council Services. This may include dealing with members of the public, answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, and inputting data, together with assignments as directed by the Chair of the St Athan Community Council. Applicants must be able to work under pressure and to deadlines as and when required.
St Athan Community Council operates as a Local Access Point for which you would be the first point of contact.
Applicants should preferably have previous experience in administration and/or customer services, excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrable social media skills and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
This would be a permanent position subject to a satisfactory probationary period.
Salary NALC LC1&2 rate subject to experience.
Part-time. 15Hrs a week Salary £607 to £833 pcm
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 1pm to 4pm.
